Motivational speakers who are good
We have seen many excellent speakers in the last few decades and some that were great but cut their careers short by some of the things they have mentioned within their speeches. Notable speakers are. Jack Canfield who is the co-creator to Chicken Soup for the Soul books, which has close to 200 titles in and is filled with eassys and motivational stories. Jack specialises in self-esteem seminars in the USA and has written a number of books on this as well as being the founder of Self Esteem Seminars in Santa Barbara and in Culver City, California. Deepak Chopra is an American physician born in India and is an author and lecturer on Ayurveda spirituality and mind-body medicine. In the late 1980s he started publishing some self-help books on New Age spirituality and alternative medicine. Chris Gardner is a self-made millionaire, as well as entrepreneur, motivational speaker and philanthropist. Who in the early 80s was struggling with homelessness when raising his toddler son. Chris wrote his memories in a book called the Pursuit of Happiness released in 2006 and later that year as a movie. Tony Robbins another American self-help author and motivational speaker and has also written a number of great books. Unlimited power was published in 1987 and discusses topics of health and energy, overcoming fears and persuasive communication, and enhancing relationships. What makes these people so succesful is what they talk and write about. Just like inspirational talk. They have gone through themselves or know people that have and researched and written papers on this. This then gives them the great energy to give to you and make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
Modern motivational speakers
A motivational speaker are quite often hire by company’s to increase profits as a motived employee is normally focused and on task more and so work harder. Whereas those who have lost their motivation and so do the minimum to get the job done which creates a drain on the other people and so lowers any profit. A speaker will always come prepared for this and their speeches may include some humour with messages to inspire the employee. They also know that many people lack self-confidence which in some roles can make or break things like sales even if the person has been doing it for some time a little extra confidence may help to upsell or just secure the deal quicker and easier. So will give people some energy and positive thoughts to give renewed commitment.
